Welcome to the site for the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville Department of Anesthesiology’s one-year obstetrical anesthesiology fellowship.
Our mission is to provide fellows not only the best possible education in the science of obstetrical anesthesiology, but to train excellent professionals with high ethical standards and values. The department is well-equipped to deliver quality care and education.
Fellows are given opportunities to master clinical techniques unique to the practice of obstetrical anesthesiology. Our obstetric unit is comprised of a significant high-risk population of parturients with obstetric disorders as well as cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, and endocrine disorders.
In addition, our fellows are actively engaged in the department’s teaching and research, thereby receiving a well-rounded experience while contributing to advancing the mission of the department and the institution.
In addition to the outstanding clinical training, our fellows enjoy the many amenities of Jacksonville coastal living.
