Obstetric Anesthesiology Fellowship

In addition to compliance with the UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville Eligibility and Selection Policy .pdf (Adobe PDF Document), fellowship applicants should note the following instructions.

Application Deadline: March 1 for July 1 start date

  • Duration: One year
  • Fellows per year: One

Eligibility Requirements: All applicants must be a graduate of an ACGME-accredited anesthesiology training program. We are unable to sponsor visas.

Licensing Requirements: An unrestricted Florida medical license is preferred, but a training license is acceptable. Should a fellow obtain an unrestricted medical license in Florida, it is solely his/her responsibility to maintain active status with the Medical Board, including timely renewal and payment of all associated fees.

Selection Criteria: Priority in selection will be given to candidates with a strong interest in academic obstetric anesthesia. Prior basic or clinical research experience will not be a requirement, but will be considered favorably in the selection of applicants.

Appointment Level: The fellow will be appointed as a University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville adjunct clinical post-doctoral associate.
