Welcome

Director
CHEQR is built on the principles of:
- Optimal health for all individuals
- The elimination of health disparities
- Promoting change through quality research
CHEQR combines the research assets of an academic health center with the surveillance and assessment functions of a public health department to support researchers who focus on issues most important to the health and health care services of the people of Northeast Florida. CHEQR conducts and supports intervention research, community-based participatory research, translational research, epidemiological studies and health services research to better understand and mitigate the impact of conditions that are the root causes of health and health care disparities/inequities in Northeast Florida. Faculty, residents or fellows interested in working with CHEQR to conduct research should contact one of the CHEQR co-directors or the Administrator.
