Welcome to the site for the Department of Community Health and Family Medicine located in Jacksonville, Fla. Our department provides professional services at Shands Jacksonville, a 696-bed tertiary care teaching hospital. The department also administers health care services at the Shands Jacksonville Family Practice Center, located on Lila Ave. in Jacksonville, not far from the Shands Jacksonville main campus.
In addition to providing excellent patient care services, our department maintains an ACGME-accredited family medicine residency training program, and is committed to excellence in graduate and undergraduate medical education.
