Education
Doctor of Pharmacy Program (Pharm.D.).
The UF College of Pharmacy-Jacksonville offers a four-year Doctor of Pharmacy Program (Pharm.D.).
About 50 new students are accepted each year, with a total of 200 students working to become licensed pharmacists. The program can be completed entirely in Jacksonville.
Pharmacy students in our program, upon completion, have all the necessary knowledge and skills needed to enter the community and/or educational environments of pharmacy.
The program is structured so that students receive classroom education; hands-on experience in our lab and
real-life experience in the community through participating pharmacies (see Patient Care for more details).
