The UF College of Dentistry Jacksonville houses a well recognized advanced education in general dentistry residency program and provides excellent patient care to the entire Duval County area, with an emphasis on downtown Jacksonville, which surrounds the dental clinic.

The college has many personnel who are responsible for everyday clinic and residency program functions and help to educate and assist in the learning process for the residents. These individuals include, administrative staff (a receptionist, secretary, cashier, facility manager and patient financial counselor), a dental hygienist, eight full-time dental assistants and faculty members.

The dental clinic averages more than 10,000 patient visits per year. This further breaks down to more than 175 patients per week, including 10 emergency patients and 30 scheduled patients per day.
