Rotations for External Residents/Fellows

Welcome and thank you for your interest in the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville (UFCOM-J).

If you wish to participate as a resident or fellow in an elective rotation experience with one of our clinical departments or GME programs, please note the following instructions:

  • Your program director is responsible for identifying the rotation and rotation-specific goals and objectives for your experience at UFCOM-J.

  • Please use this application form to submit the rotation request: External Rotation Request Form.

  • Plan for a timeline of at least 120 days from time you submit your request in order for UFCOM-J to 1) assess if your request can be accommodated, 2) to process agreements, and 3) to provide information necessary to permit you to start.

  • For information only, the checklist for processing is provided: External Rotation Checklist. Please note that this information should not be submitted until the request has been fully approved.
