Associate Professor and Division Chief

The University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism serves an important role in empowering patients. Physicians within the division have developed programs using lifestyle modification that make weight loss and diabetes prevention achievable. Working one-on-one with patients, we also stress the importance of treating high cholesterol and elevated blood pressure to lessen the risk for heart disease and stroke. Additionally, the endocrinology faculty diagnose and treats a wide variety of conditions affecting the thyroid, adrenal glands, pituitary gland, bones (including osteoporosis, calcium abnormalities and vitamin D deficiency) and metabolic diseases.

Diagnostic and therapeutic decisions are based on the most recent data from scientific studies. The physicians practicing here have completed subspecialty training in endocrinology and are American Board of Internal Medicine certified/eligible in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism.

At the UF Division of Endocrinology in Jacksonville, we specialize in helping people understand their conditions and treatment options. We also, educate rotating students, medical residents, fellows in this sub-specialty.

We invite you to explore our site further in order to learn about the services we provide, as well as contact information, if you have further questions about our division.
