Research

The University of Florida Jacksonville, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism is dedicated to the mission of fostering discovery in science and medicine and healthcare. Another mission we strive to attain is to educate and train scientists for careers in research, teaching or industry. To achieve these goals the division is actice in clinical and basic science research. Our wet lab research space is located in a newly inaugurated state-of-the-art research facility. Areas of interest include reactive oxygen species, lipid metablism, vitamin D action, metabolic syndrome and thyroid disease.
