Welcome to the site for the University of Florida Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program located at the Cardiovascular Center at Shands Jacksonville. Our 1-year ACGME-accredited program incorporates all Core Cardiology Training Symposium requirements, including an extensive educational core curriculum. We also provide a full range of training in all forms of percutaneous coronary intervention. We offer a peripheral interventional experience as well. We strongly encourage all our fellows to participate in clinical research.

We have five full-time experienced interventional cardiology faculty who provide a broad background of education, training, research and support to our program.

Another important educational resource of our program is the cardiovascular imaging core laboratory. Faculty and staff analyze images from national and international clinical sites participating in multicenter studies. The core lab is equipped with workstations to perform quantitative coronary angiography, three-dimensional volumetric IVUS and comprehensive cardiac MRI imaging quantifications.

Good luck in your search for a fellowship program and please feel free to contact us with any additional questions you may have.
