Research
The UF Division of Infectious Disease is committed to fostering research by the faculty and residents. This institution has been engaged in clinically applied research for many years and is enriched by the presence of faculty who have demonstrated excellence in performing research and in training new investigators.
In fact, Drs. Guzman and Bailey serve as members of the UF Jacksonville Institutional Review Board, which oversees campus research activities. Division faculty have a specific interest in HIV and AIDS research, among other topics.
