Education Programs

Image: Dr. Mooradian with resident physicians. The University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville Department of Medicine offers Graduate Medical Education training in our ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program and in our ACGME-accredited fellowship programs: cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, infectious disease, interventional cardiology, medical oncology, nephrology and pulmonology and critical care.

We also offer numerous elective/clerkship courses for third- and fourth-year medical students.

One-month subinternships are offered to senior medical students enrolled in US allopathic or osteopathic programs. A "subI" is typically scheduled in the late summer or early fall of the senior year and is structured to mirror the curriculum that has been laid out by the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine – Clerkship Directors in Internal Medicine. Read what our residents have to say as they look back upon their subinternship experience with us.

For current healthcare professionals, we are active participants in the UF Continuing Medical Education program in Jacksonville.
