Welcome to the web site for the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville's 2-year, ACGME-accredited Medical Oncology Fellowship Program.

The program is designed to provide a quality experience in the broad discipline of medical oncology so that each fellow will be prepared for either the private practice of medical oncology or an academic career. We expect this goal to be accomplished through monitored teaching exposure to a wide array of hospital and ambulatory care patient conditions. Standard practices of care, as well as clinical research, are emphasized. Fellows are given the opportunity to experience both academic and private practice settings, each incorporating clinical research, which utilizes national study groups (Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group, etc.), pharmaceutical studies, and local institutional trials.

Our faculty also work closely with the UF Proton Therapy Institute - the only proton beam therapy facility in the Southeast - to provide joint treatment when appropriate.

If you would like more detailed information about our program, please explore our site further. Thank you for your interest.
