Computer Access/Dorm

Four computers and one printer have been installed in the study hall of the student dormitory for use by all students. From here, students can access Email, Internet, Borland Library for Medline searches, and Word for composing memos, documents, etc.

DO NOT TRY TO PERSONALLY REPAIR, REPROGRAM OR IN ANY OTHER WAY ALTER THE HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE OF THIS COMPUTER.

For problems, call the Office of Educational Affairs at (904) 244-5128.

"Enter Login Name" appears when the PC is first turned on. Please refer to your login and password issued via email at the beginning of the academic year. If you need your login ID or password reset please call the IT Helpdesk at 4-7828. You will need this information in order to log on to any computer on this campus.

WIRELESS INSTRUCTIONS

To connect your laptop to the wireless network in the dormitory:

  • When viewing wireless networks available in the area on your laptop, select the network called "Guest".
  • At the prompt, enter your email address.

Your connection to the internet through the wireless network should then be established.
