- Research and Scholarship
- Leadership and Career Development
- Public and Population Health
- Information Technology
Through collaboration with the Continuing Medical Education (CME) office, the OEA is able to offer CME credits for each faculty development session.
Individualized Presentations
To compliment the regularly scheduled seminars, faculty in the OEA are available to present specific topics at division and/or department meetings, upon request.
Peer Review of Teaching
The peer review of teaching component of the faculty development program was created to augment the teaching skills of faculty, in order to continuously improve the learning environment of the UFCOM-J. The reviews are conducted by graduates of the University of Florida College of Medicine Master Educator Fellowship program, and provide faculty with formative feedback on their teaching skills. All faculty with at least 20% of time assigned to teaching should undergo an annual peer review of teaching. In addition, faculty should be peer reviewed prior to their mid-cycle promotion review. All faculty have the option of requesting a peer review at any time.
Master Educator Fellowship
The Master Educator Fellowship is an 18-month certificate program designed to support the educational development of selected faculty who are extremely interested in medical education and who have been acknowledged for their superior teaching skills.
