Infectious Disease Fellowship
University of Florida infectious disease fellows and clinicians.

Inpatient consultation rotations are spent at UF Health Jacksonville. During the first year, 8 weeks are devoted to learning the foundations of clinical microbiology. General infectious diseases are emphasized during the junior training year, with more specialized training during the senior year of the fellowship. Approximately 20 percent of each year is dedicated to research and productive writing.

Weekly division conferences are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and include board review sessions, case conferences, core infectious disease topic reviews and practice guidelines, TB conferences, journal clubs, HIV topical reviews and research conferences. Fellows are encouraged to attend weekly internal medicine grand rounds on Wednesdays.
