Welcome to the Web site for our one year Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) approved Vascular Fellowship Training Program at the UF College of Medicine-Jacksonville. In addition to this training program, and our ACGME-approved Neurology Resident Training Program, the UF College of Medicine in Jacksonville has 21 other residency and fellowship programs.

The Vascular Neurology Fellowship Training Program is a diverse, competency-based curriculum which combines broad clinical experience with exposure to interventional neuroradiology and neurosonology. Opportunities for fellows to conduct independent clinical research and participate in clinical trials are present as well.

The fellows’ inpatient rotations and outpatient stroke clinic are conducted at UF and Shands Jacksonville Neuroscience Institute, which is a JCAHO Certified Stroke Center. Rural areas of north Florida and southeast Georgia, incorporating l2 counties are linked to our Stroke Center by a helicopter air ambulance service.
