Michael S. Nussbaum, M.D., professor and chair of the department of surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville will assume the presidency of the Central Surgery Association.

Named as president-elect the previous year, Dr. Nussbaum will be instated as president during the 2010 annual meeting in Chicago, Ill, March 10-13, 2010.

The Central Surgery Association mission is to further the practice of surgery and the study and investigation of surgical problems.
