Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Track
The psychiatric clinical track prepares students to develop skills in advanced health assessment, psychiatric assessment, diagnostic reasoning and the clinical management of psychiatric disorders. The graduate will be prepared as both a clinical nurse specialist and a nurse practitioner in psychiatric-mental health nursing. Additional components of the role include case management and health education.
Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner graduates are eligible for national certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
