Welcome to our five-year UF Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program, which is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. The mission of our program is to educate medical school graduates in the art and science of orthopaedic surgery while providing them with the skills and principles needed to become orthopedists of the highest caliber. There is also an emphasis on development of individual discipline, which is critical for a life long education in orthopaedic surgery. Our expanding faculty is dedicated and committed to the education of our residents by providing them with the supervision, guidance, didactic and clinical education and technical training so each individual may obtain his or her best level of accomplishment. This site will introduce you to our program, faculty, institution and the exciting city of Jacksonville.

As a strong believer in family, I invite you to further explore our site in order to get to know our Jacksonville orthopaedic family and then contact us to answer any questions you may have. I would also encourage you to visit us prior to the resident application deadline so you can learn even more about our program. Again, thank you for visiting us through our Web site.
