Shands Jacksonville Laboratory Services
The Shands Jacksonville Clinical Laboratories and University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville Department of Pathology are located on the first floor of the east expansion of Shands Jacksonville Medical Center, and include:

• Core Laboratory: Chemistry, hematology, coagulation, toxicology, special chemistry and urinalysis

• Microbiology: Microbiology and serology

• Transfusion Services: Blood bank and related compatibility testing

• Tumor Analysis: Flow cytometry

• Anatomic Pathology: Surgical pathology, cytology and autopsy
