Education Programs

The Department of Pathology at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville offers excellent training in two ACGME-accredited Graduate Medical Education programs: a pathology residency and a cytopathology fellowship. It also offers a non-accredited Breast Pathology Fellowship Program.

We also offer Medical Student Education elective/clerkship courses in anatomical and clinical pathology.

For current students, we offer online tutorials and case studies (make a selection on your left, under education resources). For current physicians, we are active participants in UF Jacksonville's Continuing Medical Education program.

The department also provides unique breast health education programs for both physicians and the general public. These include:

  • "What Everyone Should Know About Breast Health" - public forum (general public invited)

  • Breast Journal Club - quarterly multidisciplinary dinner meeting (community physicians invited)

  • The Annual Multidisciplinary Symposium on Breast Disease - an international scientific program
