Curriculum

The Cytopathology Fellowship Program is a one-year ACGME-accredited fellowship that focuses exclusively on gynecological cytology, non-gynecological cytology, and fine needle aspiration biopsy cytology. Weekly didactic and microscopic conferences, monthly lectures, as well as a bi-monthly journal club supplement this training. The fellow is engaged in the examination of cytopathologic material under the supervision of the attending faculty. The program also includes participation in the intra-operative cytology consultative service. Fellows are encouraged to participate in research projects with members of the department and/or in cooperation with clinicians.
