Mae Barker, Ph.D., BCBA
Dr. Barker has published research on behavioral safety in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, presented papers on instructional methods and behavioral interventions at state and national conferences, and developed a preschool assessment tool for students with disabilities in inclusive settings. Her primary research interests include the evaluation of instructional procedures for teaching verbal behavior to students with autism and professional development of educators and other professionals who serve the autism population. |

Dr. Mae Barker is the Director of the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) with the University of Florida (UF) in Jacksonville. She is also an assistant professor and faculty member of the UF College of Medicine. As a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA), she has served individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities in homes, schools, and residential settings.
