Welcome from the Division Chief

Jeffrey L. Goldhagen, M.D., M.P.H.
Division Chief
As a Dyson Initiative Program, pediatric residents have the opportunity to work in community-based practice sites and care for "villages" of children with the support of the expansive clinical and social science faculty and community members and organizations. The division's new initiative in health, policy and evaluation research provides interested residents with support and resources to develop skills in clinical research, health policy and program evaluation. These skills are invaluable for the practice of general or subspecialty pediatrics and for those interested in launching an academic career. The division's specialty programs in foster care, international adoption, pediatric rehabilitation, care for deaf and blind children, child care and environmental health provides residents with an opportunity to understand and contribute to the evolution of pediatrics and the evolving roles pediatricians will play in the future.
We look forward to your interest in our division and are available to answer any questions you may have.
