University of Florida Pediatrics - Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship Program

Application Process

For specific eligibility requirements, please refer to the GME brochure. In addition, candidates must be board certified or board eligible for the American Board of Pediatrics. Trainees must hold, before the start date of training, either a valid unrestricted Florida medical license or be registered with the Florida Board of Medicine for a Training License.

Prospective applicants should download the application form, complete all requested information and forward this form by mail, along with:

  1. One letter from your program director and

  2. Two letters from faculty who have worked with you.

Division faculty review all completed applications and supporting documentation. Competitive candidates are invited for an interview, at which time faculty members and subspecialty fellows evaluate candidates. Each interviewer fills out an evaluation form, which is scored based on the following areas:

  • Academic credentials,

  • Letters of recommendation,

  • Professionalism,

  • Interpersonal skills and

  • Consistency of career plans to the goals of our program.

The annual application deadline for this program is August 31.
