Welcome to the site for the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville Division of Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
The division serves as a citywide referral base at Shands Jacksonville, a 695-bed tertiary care teaching hospital.
Our division performs the full range peripheral vascular interventions in our angiography suites, as well as non-vascular interventional procedures. These include abdominal aortic aneurysm endograft placement, oncology interventions,radiofrequency ablation of hepatic lesions nephrostomies, biliary drainages, MRAs and CTAs, dialysis interventions, gastrostomies, imaging-guided biopsies, drainages and fibroid embolizations.
In addition, the division offers an ACGME-accredited Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship Program.
