Graduate Medical Education Committees

The Graduate Medical Education Committee's (GMEC) mission is to ensure compliance with the accreditation essentials of residencies on this campus, the quality of resident education and resident well-being. The GMEC is chaired by the Senior Associate Dean for Educational Affairs (Director of Graduate Medical Education) and is comprised of Program Directors and peer selected residents.

The Resident Graduate Medical Education Committee (Resident GMEC) was created to provide a forum for Residents to meet and discuss work environment and educational issues. The Resident GME Committee consists of representatives from each program. If there are issues you would like to see addressed, please feel free to contact your resident representative or the Officers (as listed below).

On a regular basis throughout the academic year, the Resident GME Committee conducts Socials designed to foster interdepartmental relationships.
