Division ChiefWelcome to the Web site for the University of Florida Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery in Jacksonville. Our division, part of the Department of Surgery, provides patient services at
Shands Jacksonville and
Wolfson Children's Hospital. The Cardiothoracic Surgery Service handles a wide range of patients and problems in conjunction with a busy cardiology service. The service is pioneering advances in other minimal access cardiac procedures, including transmyocardial laser revascularization.
